Visitor

This past Monday, my BFF flew in for about a 4 hour visit ... she had a long layover before heading to Texas for work. I picked her up from the airport jumping right where we left off, like we just saw each other yesterday. I drove her around town showing her my everyday life and catching her up to speed on what was new. It was comforting to have someone to share the daily routine with.. and taking a little extra time to enjoy lunch while laughing at Jonas. She finally got to meet Kate and see how the kids have been growing up. Oh how I wish I could have her here with me to share life with but for now just thankful for my short visit of a few hours.
 I'll take it any day!
