Summertime Fun is...

 almost done.
With only one day left of summer break, I take a look back and think we did a lot! We tried to keep busy by going to the movies, splash parks, kids theater, Monkey Joe's, Sea World, nature bike rides, hiking Wekiva springs, science center, story time at the library, the beach, minute golf and their favorite the pool.
It was a great summer and sad to see it end, but excited for the new chapter.
Here is a little glimpse of summer fun...
The Twins start Kindergarten on Monday a monumental day the start of their school career.
We have met the teacher and think she's going to be GREAT! As a past Kindergarten teacher I got some high standards:) I tell the kids it's going to be the best year of their life.. not sure they believe me yet.
It is a year you always remember... don't you remember your K year?
The smell of Elmer's glue and the fun of pealing off the glue on your fingers!
This week we have been getting ready for the big day.
Our typical fresh hair cuts, brand new shoes and all the school supplies. Boy, does that add up!
What are we going to do when we have 4 in college?
Tomorrow we celebrate our summer coming to a close with a full day of junk food, movies and games! The kids think this tradition is the best time of year... a total "YES"day from mom.
Parker said tonight "I just can't wait for tomorrow!"
Hopefully, I can pull off the energy to make it fun as I ain't going to lie this mama is tired.
My entertaining skills have run dry and yes, I'm normal ...my patience is not the best right now.
I think a routine and a little quite time will help but I'm sure after one week of that I will be missing the lazy summers with hanging with my kiddos. I can't wait to see what this year has in store for my little ones!
Stay tuned for the 1st day of school photos and wish me luck .. hoping I don't shed a tear.

I wrote this poem
Each of us are Special
Each of us different,
No one is the same
Each of are us are unique in our own way,
Those of us who have challenges, we smile through our day.
It doesen't matter what other's say
we are special anyway.
